Great day!
Welcome to a new year and most importantly a new day. Often enough we make plans coming into a new year because well, everybody else is doing it. And that's great...but...
Before we get into it because of the hype, I want to dispel the notion that because it's a brand-new year we often believe that if we psych ourselves up with some new goal and that we'll magically change habits and disciplines because... well ... It's a new year so why not.
Think about it like this: A house that just expired and the seller says they are going to re-list their home with their original agent because that agent said this time they'll do something different this time around... that seller is being deceived by that agent. Why? Like I would say to a seller after hearing that... 'If the agent was going to do something different...why didn't they do it before?'
Don't take this the wrong way... don't deceive yourself! NO NEED!
So, for us ... that same applies. Whether it's a new year, a new day, your birthday, or whatever you want to call it ... what did not work out last year is what it is... and don't deceive yourself by saying you'll do something different this year when you had the opportunity last year.
The good news...you're in control.
Unlike the agent who tells a seller something different will be done...you and I know they won't! However, since you're dealing with your own business, you can control the changes you need to make this year... to enjoy the fruit of the goals you set.
So, when will it change? Bingo! Right now, at this moment and not because it's 2019... it’s the decision that you will make today and stick with that decision... act on it with grit and determination to win really big in 2019 and beyond. I know you will!
