Guys, I'll repeat what I said yesterday... I started my real estate career as an investor, and I must thankfully say...I did! It had helped me become a better agent. And when I finally got my real estate license I was a better negotiator, better at evaluating property values… I simply became better all-around.
My first transaction as an investor, while I had a license, I had made in less than 3 hours of invested time ... $5000.00!
Yes… no BS! I searched for a home on the multiple listing services in South Miami[Richmond Heights], I went out and previewed it and man it was in rough shape ... they were asking $52,500 I then made an offer of $17,500 [because it was leaning to the left and needed a total rehab] , we negotiated to $22,500 and within 3 hours I sold it for $27,500 to another agent in my office without ever closing on it in my name. Now, I'm not bragging just sharing the reality of what's possible. To confirm…I WAS LICENSED!
I often hear from my clients that one of the big reasons they got into real estate was to also become an investor because they realize that most wealth is created through investing.
Frankly, as an agent, you should be investing! Think about it… you have the access, you’re trained to find deals and negotiate…so why not you?
So, if you’ve ever wondered how it's done…who are these folks who call you and say… ”send me a great deal, I’ll buy it fast for cash!” We’ll address that too!
